We were on a cruise for our anniversary in Oct 2018. We hired a taxi for the day to explore the area. We asked our driver to take us some place the locals would go for clams and scallops. He brought us here and we treated him to lunch. The food was amazing and we still talk about it today.

There is not much more that can be said about this establishment. Great food super staff and well run. This family business is second to none. Not only do they serve good food they are very community minded and assist in any way they can. Their support to fund raising efforts is appreciated very much and needed in the community. Thanks for your continued support!!

Great food all around but the seafood (all of it is delicious). From the fish to the scallops and chowder. It is great for the cost. I compared prices with a couple neighborhood pubs and you are getting bang for buck eating here. Not to mention the continued quality.

My family (3 generations) have been dinning with this family, yup I said THIS FAMILY since I was 16 years old, I am now 55 years of age with my own children. The new location is beautiful, staff are supper friendly as usual and it is wonderful to be greeted by the owners each and every time we dine in.

We went for the first time today. I have to say the service was amazing, and food was phenominal. I had scallops and haddock tips....cooked perfectly. We all loved it. Waited about 30 minutes as it was packed...a good sign the food is great. I will recommend this place to everyone. My new favorite spot.

First time there, my Mom goes often and suggested we eat here. Small place seating for 65 people. 1130 on a Saturday Morning and we got the last table free. The entire time we were there a seat would only be empty for a less than 5 minutes. Food was good and very well priced. Staff was some of the best I have seen. One person, I assume a regular but don't really know, was upset about something and I saw at least 3 different waitresses offer hugs and paid attention to the three children. They were attentive to my Mother and respected that at 82 it takes time to process questions and give answers. She told me several stories about how the staff did something kind for her and\or my Sisters. Food was prepared and served quickly enough to compare with the so called Fast-food chains but far better quality and price. I will recommend this diner to others and will return again. MY thanks to the staff, the food was very good but both the kitchen and wait staff blew it out of the water.

Went to Pleasant Street Diner this afternoon with my sister for our birthdays and had the seafood platter. Cooked to perfection, plenty of scallops, shrimp, large amount of clams & good size piece of fish. No surprise had lots leftover to take home for tomorrow's dinner. Quantity and quality offered at this diner, and last week was at a Bar and Grill and someone had the seafood platter, not near as good and price $5 more. Always glad to make a return visit.

What a pleasure! I had been a regular guest at another location, and I did not know part of the family (my favorite family members) had opened this spot. WOW, I walked in the door and it was like coming home, and I hadn't see them for 2 years! Please know you too will be treated like family! The week before I had been in Halifax and had the worst haddock dinner ever. and yes, I wrote a review on Trip Advisor, and tonight I wrote a one for PSD. After warm greetings, Tommy brought their homemade tartar sauce to the table knowing I was going to have seafood. It is delicious. My friend and I both had the haddock dinner with fries. The frozen mixed veggies were cooked well, which is not easy to do, the coleslaw was perfect (the vinegar type not creamy), and the very large haddock filet was- perfect! Simple and perfect. (And $2.00 less than the awful haddock dinner I had in Halifax the week before). Looking forward to seeing you again, soon!

Finally got to have a chance to test the Diner's fish and chips with some friends . The score is a perfect 10 . Service was excellent . Our waiter , Chris, was also excellent and has ESP too . One of the folks at our table ordered pie, but didn't say what kind . Chris showed up with a Coconut cream , saying to my friend "you looked like a coconut cream pie person". . Right On .We also ordered the pan fried haddock , club and fries . All excellent . Very fresh salads too. . Gotta go for breakfast soon .
